Welcome to the University of Crete!
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., we’re excited to welcome all first-year students at our Welcome Event, taking place simultaneously on both campuses:
Heraklion – “Nikos Petridis” Amphitheater, Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics
Rethymno – Amphitheater D3
Come meet your fellow students, get to know the University, discover its services, opportunities and student groups, and enjoy music, food and a great welcome party!

Please note that no classes will be held during the event. And of course, the Welcome Office will have its own stand, so make sure to stop by and say hello.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
