Want to practice a language, meet a student from another country, and see what student life looks like across Europe?
The INGENIUM Language Network (ILANET) is now accepting applications for INGENIUM Linguistic Tandems for Students! It’s your chance to team up with a student from another INGENIUM university and learn from each other. No pressure, just great conversations.
How does it work?
We match you with a student from another INGENIUM university based on the languages you want to practice and your preferences. Then the two of you decide when and how to meet. Your tandem lets you:
● Practice a language through real conversations
● Meet students from another INGENIUM university
● Discover new cultures and different student experiences
● Share your campus life, interests, and everyday routine
● Build international connections and friendships
● Boost your intercultural communication skills
Don’t worry — you don’t need to speak the language perfectly! The idea is simple: talk, learn from each other, and enjoy the ride.
Who can join?
All INGENIUM students — undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral, from any field of study. You don’t have to be a language major, either. Curiosity and a willingness to communicate are all you need!
What to expect
● The program runs for about 6–8 weeks.
● No classroom, no teacher, no exam — just a space to talk, exchange, and learn together.
● You’ll get a list of icebreaker topics: your studies, your city, hobbies, travel plans, favorite music, and anything else you want to share.
Application deadline: Sunday, October 11, 2026
