Research Activities

Research programs are an important part of the research activities of members of staff. They are directed by academic members of staff and may include postdoctoral and PhD students, as well as researchers from other Greek and foreign universities and research centres. The research activity of the members of staff also includes other activities beyond such research programs.

Recently, the Departmental research programs were integrated into the Centre for Research and Studies (C.R.S.) in Humanities, Social Sciences and Pedagogics of the University of Crete. C.R.S.’s mission is to promote research in the Humanities and Social Sciences and to operate research projects on behalf of third parties.
