His research interests are in Art History issues of the 19th and 20th century. More specifically in defining the role played by the Greek State and other administrative bodies in the Arts, and the mechanisms for assimilation of Modern European Art in Greece, as recorded both in the work of artists and in the areas of ideology, aesthetic theory and art criticism.
